I have rebuilt almost the entire truck. It has 81,000 miles and 15000 hours on the chassis. it has 5,000 miles and 120 hours on the rebuilt motor. it has new rear axle bearings, a new pinion seal, new u joints on the drive line, a new pto seal, a new oil pan and seal, it has had an inline rebuild on the motor with 6 months and 95000 miles left on the warranty, it has a new turbo, two new injectors, a rebuilt head, new thermostat, a professionally cleaned radiator, it has a new hi pressure oil pump, and new tires. All the injectors were tested at an independent shop. i can produce receipts for all the mechanical work as it was done by crows truck service and a licensed and insured mobile mechanic. The truck is a 1999 international with a dt466 & 6 speed spicer. The truck has air brakes and an air actuated pto. the boom is a 55' arial lift of connecticut and it over centers. The boom has one small leak on the passenger side out rigger. This truck has massive tool storage, we keep climbing gear for three climbers, one ground man, four climbing saws, all the rigging gear you can imagine, 2- husky 372, 1- husky 390, one 3120 and still have room left over for the water keg if need be. The truck has a 12 yard chip box this is an awesome truck and will make you a lot of money. it dumps well, the boom works well, the AC and the heat will run you out of the truck. It is a fine truck now that we have gone through it. this truck works everyday and is garage kept. the pics i will post are of how it is kept everyday not all washed up. $55,000.00 obo (901)604-0179

if you need more pics pm me your email and i will email you a 98 picture slide show. I would feel comfortable driving this truck to alaska if need be and for a small fee

If you want something to work on go buy a beater. I have fixed everything on the bucket truck and it will sell for around that price. Someone will see the value of working everyday making money versus having the truck sitting in a mechanics shop every other week tying their cash up and costing them down time. The loan payment with five year amortization is $1063.30 per month at a 6% interest rate with no down payment or taxes. That payment wouldn't cover the first mechanics visit on a beater. Much less an engine repair shop bill of $12,500.00. This truck has only one leak and i can have that fixed in no time flat. i have 98 pics of the truck taken after work if you would like to look at them all. I have nothing to hide. Good equipment isn't cheap, but it will make you money.

if want cheap and something that will make you money. I'll sell you this beater for $25250! I drove this thing home from new hampshire last summer. It is a great log truck. prentice 120E new pump, rebuilt the brakes and three new sets of bearings, The heads are rebuilt. its a beater but will drive and make you money everyday. I would drive it to california if need be. the chassis is an '89 ford ltl9000 with cummins formula 300 with an eaton eight speed with double low and double reverse. 46000lbs rear axles with diff lock and an air tag. comes with a crappy interior and dents and busted fiberglass aplenty, but it drives good and works hard.

fyi if you choose to go the beater route and build your own truck this is what it will cost you: 12-19 thousand for a rebuilt motor; 25000 ish for the truck; 5,000 for brakes and bearings; 8 to 9 thousand for body work and paint; 6 thousand in tires and balancers; if the suspension is cracked it will cost 6 thousand to rebuild; another thousand for the steering box n hoses; 4500 chasing little leaks down all over the truck; around 10 thousand to rebuild the boom.

25000 truck
12000 motor
5000 brakes
8000 body work
6000 tires
6000 suspension
4500 leaks
10000 boom
------------
$76500.00 total and that beater will be completely rebuilt and able to make you a couple mill before it dies. the mechanic bills add up real fast. My bucket truck has had most of that work done already + the interior is cherry. it just needs paint and lettering if you don't like red. A quality truck is going to cost bread. look at it this way: you can take this bucket and go make $1400 a day and have the truck paid for in 40 days or buy that beater and get ready to spend some cash and lose lots of money on down time. I know all this from experience. our season is only so long and then its back to the slow months. Do you want to waste your time and invest your cash instead of making money and investing the banks cash?

The market will determine its worth. My guess is shy of 35k. I could have had a similar truck a month or so ago for $15k but turned it down when he called back.

Whadja get for it, if you don't mind me asking? I know lots of people are interested in knowing. It's good to know what things like this are worth in this industry. PM if you like.
