Tree valuation for acreage

Here is the story, A customer had a couple of acres accidently burned by here neighbor. Some trees where native and some where planted. The valuation methods by trunk, would probably give a higher value for the trees than the house and property is worth.
Anyone know a different method to use for many trees in one location?
