Terex wheel loaders?

For working in yards the first issue I see is the tipping capacity is 20% higher than the Gehl AL540, but the tire width is about 10% less.

What's your intended application?

I am biased, but I would prefer a Gehl AL540. Some of the best controls in the market, two speed transmission, push button differential locks, uses standard skid steer attachments, 15.5" wide tires while being 54" wide, 2 post/4 post ROPS or Cab with or without air conditioning.

Mike- Dave knows his shit and is a great guy. He'll be at expo and might even give you a ride on his Segway.

I could see this machine being nice if you had your own dumping facility and needed a loader to move chips and load a grinder, but I think its too big to be useful on many tree projects.

Dave and I will be at the show, Drea too, I believe.

Waiting until the show to start the order can make the timeline tight for end of the year delivery.

Gimme a call if you want to talk before!

we have one at the company i work for, but it is not a regular piece of equipment that goes out. Usually its a cat 303 or bobcat e45 mini excavator with rotobec grapple, but on larger jobs or where there is a long distance to forward wood to a log truck we bring it and move wood with forks. we also have a hitch plate and do stump grinding off it as well. I love running the machine. I can maneuver our bandit 1890 all around someones back woods doing thinning with it, and not bog down at all in soft ground.

A loaded AL540 with the forum discount (contact me for that discount!) is ~$49.1k FOB Plymouth, MN.

Fully loaded is:
Cab with AC
Air Ride Seat
Power Attach
Titan HD tires
Block Heater

I sold my (personal) AL540 last year to buy a track loader for a big job. I still have access to my climber's AL140, but I'm leaning towards buying another loaded AL540 for personal use. The CTL is tough on yards in comparison.

These two videos would have been easier with the ctl, but I didn't have one at that point.

This is a 340, but it's a perfect example of what wheel loaders can do.
