This is a couple of years old. Climbed on by me and a co-worker. I'm climbing srt mostly now and this thing has been sitting on the shelf for a while. It's got a relatively new clutch on it and an extra old one. After getting the new clutch and using it for a very short period of time it was beginning to slip a little though. According to the manual if it still slips after getting a new clutch, the counter part needs to be replaced. I think that would be the pin that holds the metal piece that connects to the carabiner on the bottom of the jack. Also missing the little rubber piece that slips over the end of the Dyneema. It was just for holding in place on the carabiner. Included are the extra Allen wrenches and a couple of screws that come with the spare clutches. Anyways I'll take 175 for it. I'll cover 5 bucks for shipping, you cover the rest.

I've got some slippage on mine too, have you tried replacing that pin? Where can you buy a new one? I thought it was the body that would need to be replaced, which I don't think is available as a replacement part in the US.

Ok so, I finally climbed on this thing again today to check it out and it didn't slip, like I thought it was. It worked well. I ran tree frog line through it. I bounced and jumped off of limbs and it grabbed like its supposed to. Still for sale.

I've been running the SpiderJackII and RopeGuide for quite a while now, the ultimate rope for the setup, is Samson Velocity and Vortex, they grab every time, no failure or slippage, at all! The SJ just loves the softer rope, and there's almost no wear to speak of. Give it a try, you definitely won't be disappointed!

Thanks for your comment man. I tell ya what though, ever since I learned srt, I haven't used my spider jack at all. If I need to do doubled rope, I'll either use my coworker's rope with zigzag on it, or just use a standard hitch climber with hitch cord.
