Spanish Training at Rutgers

Rutgers Cooperative Research and Extenion (RCRE) of Morris and Somerset
Counties is offering a one-day program for your spanish speaking
employees in the proper care of trees in the landscape. Topics to be
covered include tree biology, common spring time pests and diseases of
trees and ornamentals, personal safety, proper pruning, and common
problems and maintenance of newly planted trees.

This training will be offered from 9 am to 2 pm, on Saturday April 23rd,
at the Morris County RCRE office, County Building 550, West Hanover
Avenue, Morristown, NJ (973-285-8307). Registration is $20 per person,
covering continental breakfast, lunch, and handouts (English and
Spanish). A minimum of 15 attendees is needed to run the day's
program. Please make checks payable to "Morris County Board of
Agriculture." Payments will be accepted the day of the training, but we
need to know beforehand your intention to attend. Please rsvp to myself
or to Pedro Perdomo in Morris County. We anticipate both classroom and
field portions of the training (weather dependent of course). Thanks
