I purchased this book recently, and it was shipped to me in a cardboard box with no plastic wrapping. Of course the day it was delivered, there was a heavy rain and it got wet. It took a couple of days to dry out and the pages warped along the bottom edges, but the ink didn't run and it's in good shape, considering. I complained and the publisher sent me a new one, no charge. I'd like $10 to cover shipping if you want it. PayPal or Venmo.

The book was written mainly for cave rescuers but it has lots of good information about ropes, knots, gear, rigging, forces, etc., with nice color photos and diagrams. Kind of has a British, wry sense of humor to it as well. ~300 pages. Search Amazon for a full description.

I'm amused that you included the page for Large Animal Rescue. 25 or 30 years ago, I went to a cave during a cavers' event that had a dead cow in it. The cave entrance was in a pasture at the bottom of a sinkhole. The cow had fallen into the sinkhole and rolled right to the cave entrance, halfway blocking it. We had to kind of crawl over it to get into the cave. Fortunately, the cow was only just starting to sour. The cave rescue group from the event went out the next day and hauled it up into the pasture for the landowner.
