Shunt for footloop on thick ropes

Hi !

I'm looking for a cheap double ascender to make a footloop for double rope use. The shunt in its design feats my needs but is made for 11mm ropes max and i usually got to climb on thicker ropes, often 12mm. It is defenetly not to use the Shunt as a life support, just as a foot loop ascender.

I'd like this ascender to be sliding up easy enough to attach it to a bungee. I saw some of you are using the Shunt, maybe do you know if it could do the trick ?

The awsome Yoyo Man gived me the answer !
11,5 / 12mm max can fit but the friction would ask a strong bungee.

I gonna give it a try and certainly later move to 10,5 or 11mm rope.
