Join the Seattle Department of Transportation’s (SDOT) Urban Forestry team
for a workshop on permitting and policies for tree work in the right of way.
These workshops are for registered Tree Service Providers or individuals, or companies interested in becoming registered Tree Service Providers. Tree Service Provider registration is a Seattle-specific certification that is required to work on street trees in the right of way. At the workshop, you will
- Learn strategies for submitting accurate street tree permit applications
- Get information about how to comply with street tree and street use regulations
- Gain resources for making Traffic Control Plans
- Network with other tree professionals and SDOT Urban Forestry staff
- Earn International Society of Arboriculture (ISA) Continuing Education Units - 2 credits available for Certified Arborists, other credits available for other ISA certifications
We are offering this workshop on two dates. Each workshop will have the same content.
