could anyone tell me how to restore the power in my 3 year old 200t? I don't know anything about saw maintenance, just the stuff in the manual. I'd really appreciate it. thank you

Start with a new air filter, spark plug, and fuel filter.

Clean the dust out under the starter cap where the ignition is situated ;-)

Take it to a saw shop and get the compression tested.

Pull out and clean the spark arrestor from the muffler...or ditch it completely. You can thank me later

This is correct. If u know nothing, You might not know this. There is a screen on the muffler. It stops sparks from leaving. It often gets plugged with carbon gum. Remove the one screw that holds it in, wash the screen in gas and replace.

Mine needed a new carb after about 4 yrs. Make sure you use higher octane fuel and synthetic mix. The ethanol in the fuel is killing these saws.
