Safety Landry Camo Chainsaw pants.

These are by far the most comfortable pants I have worn to climb, I usually go through a pair about every year and a half, and for $110 canadian thats a pretty damn good deal compared to the ago or stihl alternatives. They are also lighter, and the most breathable while still having the protection. The pocket vents are amazing on a hot day.

My only complaint? I can't find them on the Shepard's forestry website, and I need a new pair, and don't want to wait till September for our TCC to buy them. I also don't know if they come in more colors than blue or camo.

In Midland Ontario last year,I noticed a good quarter of the competitors or so were using them, so I can't be the only one thinking this. I really wish I picked up an extra pair then.

Anyone have a link to where I can buy these online?

Not that I am aware of. I just got off the phone with Shepards' Forestry, and I guess they discontinued the old style camo. Looks like these will have to do.
I blow the crotch out on these too, only when I put my spurrs on without lifting up the pant legs a little. I have learned how to sew pretty well because of it though. haha
Thanks for pointing these out to me.

It's gonna sound funny but, I used 7lb test spider wire fishing line on the crotch before they blew out. Never any problems.

Yeah, or get nylon heavy duty thread, just patched the nuts up on mine :). I went with the 4 season pant, as I found the mesh, lighter fabric would get caught on sharp objects and rip, and I blew the crotch on these faster than the other pair. Only downfall was in wearing a bit heavier in the summer, but still not as heavy as my old husky's. Really though when its 42 with the humidex, mesh or not, your still going to sweat like a turkey in an oven, but your package wont be hanging out for the world to see. As a side note, invest in some underarmour spandex or something, world of difference. I get mine from sheppherds, 130 shipped is still cheaper than anything sherrill offers both in quality and in price. Ditto for commercial solutions.
