Just throwing this out there to see if it sticks.

Anyone running a rope runner pro on petzl control? Or any other devices or hitches for that matter.

I do currently, and am wondering what others think.

I don’t climb on that particular rope, but my RRP did take some dialing in, and I think once it’s “broken in” some more dialing in….. I am new to this device, and at times it can be a bit jumpy when initiating a descent. I’m hoping in time that’ll smooth out… not helpful for your question I know, but sharing my experience so far with it. (Yale 11.7 blue moon) 200ish#s with gear on.

Thanks Chris, Ya, same experience here on descent. But once engaged I can feather and gauge speed quite well. The control is a thick rope, at 175# with gear I am at the 4th notch on the bollard and it is still pretty darn tight to engage.
