Rope Wrench Ascent w/ Double Line Rope Walker

Be good to see the video from a different angle. Did you just tend the WR with your hands? Thanks for taking the effort to post your videos.

Yea I plan on doing this. It is hard to see what is really going on.

Short video on the technique I use for long ascents with the rope wrench. I found out that Gerry Beranek's double line rope walker which was first used with doubled rope technique also works for SRT and the rope wrench.

Been climbing that way for 8 months with my partner. We have used both rope grabs and pantins on the left knee and elastic attached to the saddle via mini caribiner. pantin is best due to light weight, my CMI foot grab weighed enough to slap your knee good when walking fast.

I like to set it up with a left foot ascender, a basic with a footstrap, and the bungee cord from the top of the basic attached to a single cam double handled ascender. A chest strp or lanyard over the shoulder tends the rw/ hitch, pretty fast, almost like running up a rope!
