Rayco AW1800

Has anyone here demoed or owned a Rayco AW1800 wheel loader? I’m trying to set up a demo with my dealer but would appreciate any firsthand experience from you. Pros and cons. Thanks!

Have you considered a Giant 254T/G1200.
We have 1,380 hrs on ours and still going strong. It's an unbelievable asset to our two man operation. Please ask any questions you may have.

I have considered the Giant G1200. I hoping to line up a demo in the next week or so. Honestly, I'm looking for something that lifts just a bit more. I'm looking into the Intrepid KM130 that is seems pretty similar to the Giant, but a tad bigger. Anyone have any experience with the Intrepid loaders?

Also, I've demoed a Cast 40xd that seems great for maneuverability and lifting capacity, but was having power issues climbing hills. Maybe something wasn't adjusted correctly, but I'm still waiting to see if that issue can get resolved.

I'm a big fan of giant. Its been adapted to tree work so well that the joystick is almost set up for tree work. I would recommend a BMG grapple with power rotation. We use our giant in conjunction with an arbor trolly to tow around the large wood. We load our wood into a dumptrailor. The big heavy wood going in first, the lighter wood goes on top. If you will be loading a truck higher off the ground, consider a bigger machine. For us the giant G1200 works for our little operation.
