Poplar Removals

Heres a vid from the other day of two Carolina Poplars we took down. Easy trees to take down probably could have got away with dropping more brush if we had of moved the truck.Rigged some of the limbs just to contain the mess to a smaller area. Couldn't have flopped them because of the septic systems on either side of the trees.
Enjoy

Enjoyed that vid, thanks for posting, the snow in the landscape looked good. Tidy work. It's nice to rig out of a bucket now and again. Dont see too many treevids of rigged bucket takedowns.

Noticed you just missed the top boom with a rigged stem at one point, bit too close for comfort, but you know that anyway, so it's all good.

What helmetcam is that? also what software was used for editing?

cheers

Thanks. Sometimes using the bucket on TDs with rigging can be a pain if you can't get a good truck set up but this job was pretty good in that respect. Ya that one piece was a little too close but I saw it coming and got out of the way.
The helmet cam is a contour roam and I'm using Imovie 11 to edit. Imovie is quite easy to use and anytime I have an issue a quick google search usually remedies that.

Yep, agree on all counts: contour and iMovie 11 both rock and are super easy to use...

If you ever let any of your ground crew go, send em our way, those dues RUN
