Has anyone been to Barbados for honeymoon? My fiance wants to go to Barbados for our honeymoon, we are getting married in a couple of months. She is insisting that we go there because she loves the beaches there. But, I think it is a bit boring. I mean, I am not sure what we could do there, like other than just seeing the beaches. I checked the internet to know more, and I found this, http://thecrane.com/blog/2017/01/25/romantic-things-barbados/. Is there anything else other than this? They are listing some romantic activities for a couple, but I am still not very sure about it. I want to know if anyone has been there. Please help me with this. Is this an apt place for honeymoon? I am looking forward to your valuable replies and suggestions. Thanks.
 
Extremely short ceremony at the courthouse, sign papers, hit bar 3 blocks away, back seat of '79 Buick, back to the bar...
Cheap, and you don't get much more romantic than that, because...
Take loan out to pay for elaborate wedding, donation to church, expensive plane tickets to exotic island, expensive 10 days at overpriced luxury hotel, drinks that cost $12 each, meals that cost $100 each, lots of overtime to pay for it all which leads to new wife running off with a used car salesman, expensive divorce lawyers and loss of half of everything you own. By now, you're so stressed out, you look like you've been living in a dumpster and the hot, young college girls just point at you and laugh.

Just my take on it. You might have better luck than that.

@JeffGu on one of my many trips across your state back to Iowa I must meet you. A sentiment such as that is worth the beer i would have to buy to get.

Wait a minute... Wyoming... Idaho.... I've been to both of those states. If you walk up to a pasture of sheep, they just automatically back up to the fence. If I drop my billfold around you guys, I'm going to just kick it all the way back to my pickup truck before I risk bending over to pick it up.
 
I keep sending the IRS my ideas for improvements on that Form 1040a and they keep rejecting my suggestions. I think there should be more options on there.

What happens in the sheep shed, stays in the sheep shed. Although I rarely see any sheep around here. But in the end you still have to pick it up. Thay also say the toothbrush may have been invented here, otherwise it would be called the teethbrush (imbred joke). Anyways, big derail and hopefully the OP dont get irritated with the fun. Cheers!
 
Dude cheer up the Caribbean is awesome. There are much much worse places you could and wonder, "well what do I do now?"
I live on a peninsula, a frickin' sand dune with two bridges to get on or off. I've seen the ocean, I've put my toes in sand. Over it. And not to mention I'm a bit hyper and manic. Like all the time.
But when I was out there, I coulda sat in silence and just watched the water so nothing all day. If you go there, clear your head, sit on the beach, and see how long it takes before you realize your so at peace doing nothing.
And btw it was the last place j thought I would be into visiting and now I can't wait to get back.
