Pat lmi cable reel spring

Anyone know where i can order just the spring for a hirschmann lmi cable reel? I found a place in the netherlands, but everyone here in the states wants to sell you the $2500 housing which doesn't include the guts and would take alot of time to switch them over/calibrate. 9103 national. Oh the woes of using legal cranes...

Shoot there was a brand new one on eBay a while back for like $300, I almost got it just for the cable !!

Are you sure it's tight enough? With my old crane anytime we had to redo the lmi wire we woukd wind that all the way back....sometimes took two people to go the last two or 3 cranks. Just something to think about.

There is something wrong on the inside...its just not winding up smoothe when i go out more than about 75 feet... 5-8 turns on tightening is about the norm...i get it back to the shop and play with it and it's fine...go figure.
