one hell of a climb !!!!!!!!!!!!

I suddenly got scared of heights....

free climbing is osha approved....?

My wife has a friend who lost her brother in a fall from a transmission tower a few years ago.

I agree, the free climbing spooks me. Too used to being tied in all the time. If you wanna see some more uneasy stuff, look on youtube for ironworker videos.

I've seen that video a few times, it's gotten the guy who made it in the first place in trouble with NATE(National Association of Tower Erecters) as well as OSHA. Free climbing isn't allowed, hasn't been for many years. At one point, there was an argument for allowing free climbing because the climber wastes so much energy clipping, unclipping, reclipping, etc. Didn't hold much water then, sure as heck doesn't now that there's rail and cable sliders on every ladder.
