new tribe saddles?????????????

I have a treefox which is basically a yellow jacket. Nice for rec and teaching climbing. Even though it has no padding it's very comfortable. The leg loops are probably the most comfortable I've sat in.

thanks for the info. ive seen a lot of people rec climbing with them but wasnt sure how theyd do working. ive beeen eyeballing the nikosi but am a little concerned with the bridge setup. im used to the rope bridge and ring and want to know if the nikosi limits movement, ive never climbed on anything but a rope bridge

I live in Atlanta and have a nikosi. If you want to try it just let me know. You can come hang out in a couple of the trees here and see what you think.

Richard

It is about 7 months old and not the newest model.

I have had my Nikosi since they came out. Before that I had a Tengu. They have been used exclusively for work as my main saddle. I wont ever buy a different brand. However I have no idea how the Nikosi compares to saddles like the Treemotion. Many other climbers swear by the TM but I am not a high performance kind of guy. I like comfort and ruggedness and the Nikosi is great in both of those aspects.

Just remember that finding a saddle is a very personal choice, but if you get a New Tribe, you will get a very high quality, well thought out saddle. It might not be for you but you will never know until you try it out.
