Negative Blocking

Pretty fun video, nice work.
Was that just a party, or some other friction pollard? What size rope? Just asking because those all ran pretty smooth and from my experience with bigger wood and a party it tends to lock up pretty easily, and no not with too many wraps

At 1:30 you can see its just a porty. I never really have a problem letting big wood run. Most cases I don't have room to let it run so I'm wrapping the crap out of it so it don't move... we have so many unskilled companies around here we get under bid on anything remotly easy but we get all the monsters hangin over the house with no rigging points, but when I got the room my groundies better watch out cause it's comin!

Haha, just realized my auto correct liked the word party!
Sounds like the same problem everywhere with companinies underbidding all the easy stuff. Thanks for the share and stay safe!

Thanks!!

Block, port-O-wrap, and either a 9/16" or maybe 5/8" double braid rope.
