MS200t rebuild kit and service manual

Hi, does anyone have a recommended source for a rebuild kit? Also, hoping someone has a pdf service manual.

That'd be awesome. I just picked one up on eBay for a good price but I'm assuming it'll need some work

Nice. Hopefully it’s got good compression. To be safe, I’d squirrel a little bit of coin away to get it to where it’s a money maker again(sounds like you’ve already prepared). I’ve bought 3 used 200ts over the years, all of them work really really well, and haven’t been huge shop queens out of the box, but they needed a little TLC to get a spot in the trucks. I’m a stihl tophandle junkie, and I’d put any of my 200s against my built 201tcs any day.

How much for your eBay 200?

$700. They said they were a Stihl dealer. It was sold as "running well" with a new bar/chain. I spoke with them and they said it was a trade that was looked through and parts replaced where necessary. But their eBay guy couldn't tell me what exactly was replaced

They’re great saws. I’ve been extremely happy with mine, even in stock form they’ve got responsive/snappy throttle, and great power at 8000’+.

Can the accelerator pump version of the carb still be purchased? I believe that's the secret to the snappy throttle.

Had it up in the tree today. Definitely enjoyed it and still shocked how it fired right up.

I have a 14" Light 04 bar on it. Can you recommend a good chain? Oregon fine ?

I use Oregon or stihl chain, as long as it’s not the double raker stuff.
