Looking for Help Identifying a Rayco Stump Grinder

I've got what has been tentatively identified as a Rayco RG20, but everything I see online about RG20's suggests that they are self-propelled, and this thing is most decidedly not. The only other model I'm finding looks too small to be what I have...any help?

I think that’s an RG-13, which should be 13HP engine unless it’s been changed. RG-20 would be around 20HP engine.

Engine appears to be a 20 hp Kohler, but there are definitely no mounts for anything self-propelling around the axle or up at the controls. So weird!

How sure are you that the engine is a Kohler? It looks identical to a GX390 Honda, which is a 13 hp engine. Kohler engines don’t usually have that style fuel tank.

The Brand claim could be erroneous. I was under the impression Rayco only used Kohler, but I was pretty confident I was able to read something about 20hp through some dirt and rust. I'd definitely bow to your experience over my guessing, though.

Could be the engine was replaced at one point or another? A 20 hp engine will almost certainly be a two cylinder, I’ve never seen a single cylinder that big.

This link has some pictures of the Honda I think it is, you should be able to compare the photos with your engine to see if it looks about the same. https://www.acmetools.com/honda-gx3...ne-air-cleaner-gx390ut2qc9/407039000030.html?

Okay, so I'm a moron, and I've wasted some of your time. Sorry.

I posted the wrong photo...that's not my unit, it's a photo I saved for comparison awhile back. I knew there was a reason I was thinking "Kohler", but I haven't been around my shop for a few days to take a fresh look.

THIS is my Unit. Still definitely not self-propelled...but that's definitely a Kohler.

No worries there. Now I understand why I was getting confused over the engine. And yes, that’s definitely a Kohler 20.

Oldie, but still an RG-20 I’ll bet.
If there’s a legible SN on it, you can probably find out the year from Rayco/ Morbark.
