I think there is a Finnish word for this combination of safety, efficiency, and productivity: Sisu. We're looking for people with SISU written into their bones.

Other words to describe this remarkable quality: fierce grit, determination, perseverence. This is the kind of person I'm looking for.

Next time we're in Portland we'll have go climb a tree. My son is on the autism spectrum and we work with some pretty awesome therapists in Beaverton. If I didn't have my own company I'd jump at the chance to move out there and work.

Sweet! We definitely don't have trees like that around here. We have some big old ranch cottonwoods that'll hit 100 feet but that's as big as we get around here.

Not sure the details but should be fairly easy. I know there are lots of Mexican nationals legally working in the southern states so why not a Canuck? Should be a simple work visa I imagine.

And bring me down some backbacon eh?
