ISO non working chipper

In search of a cheap chipper in need of repairs that somebody needs taken off there hands. Whatcha got guys? I was a diesel mechanic in a former life and can fix most any problems it may have.

I presume you're looking for something in the east Texas-ish area, right? We've got a 12" Woodchuck with a con-rod sticking out the side of the block. Figure about 7 or 8 tubes of JB Weld and you'll be good to go. Any travel plans to CT?

Price is firm. Cape cod, Ma
This is a working chipper at a great price. I could put $1000 into it and probably get 10g or close. I don't have the time or interest.

I was only half serious with my first post, thinking no way would anyone travel from Texas to CT to pay money for a blown up chipper. They can't be that hard to come by in your part of the US, can they? Anyway, give me a day or so to get some actual thoughts and facts on it, and I'll get back to you.

Everyone down here has smallish units and I have had a hard time finding one even non serviceable that was willing to let go at a reasonable price. I ran into one guy with a 96 morbark that needed a lot of work and he wanted 13k. I was like wtf? You only paid 19k for it 19 years ago

Sorry, I wasn't very clear about that. PM sent to EastTexasArborist. (I was actually telling him to skip my piece of junk halfway across the country and buy your Vermeer.)
