As I'm sure many of you are aware, the international conference is coming up in August. We expect to have about 2500 people coming! Needless to say, putting on something that large is a monumental task, both in terms of labor and cost. I went to the Southern Chapter conference there last year, at the Gaylord Opryland Hotel, and I can assure you it is no Motel 6.
Let me get to my point: I am one of the many that have been asked to help acquire sponsorships for the event. There are three different levels, all of which have different "benefits" associated with them (see below). If any of you have businesses of your own, it's a great way to receive broad recognition and exposure, both at the conference and in publications. You also get some merchandise. Also, if you know of any other companies that may be interested, I would appreciate it very much if you could forward this to them.
By the way, thank you Tom and Mark, for allowing me to post this on the board. This is a great forum, and I look forward to reading and posting more in the future. And if this post would be better suited for another place, please fell free to move it.
