Is it time to replace the bungee on my Big Shot?

Compared to the new one I've got it hasn't stretched at all, and it still works fine, but I'm concerned about the cracking about halfway around both sides at the ends of the metal horns on the side closest to the pole. Of course, the cracks open up a LOT more when they're under tension.

I've gotten comfortable using the pneumatic launcher (My wife suggested I stop calling it an air cannon.), so the Big Shot has become the back-up. I'll have something that works if the bungee replacement operation goes amiss.

I used Windex for installation lube and left it 2 days to dry. I got the idea online.

Mine lasted a long time like that, until it didn't. I mostly used my APTA for a long, long time. The BS rubber was 17 years old, stored out of UV.

I always BS with PPE.

Mine finally broke.

I used a razor blade to remove the old tubes.

Windex into the tubes, drain, then slide right on.
