Ironclad 30% off today

Hey so apparently ironclad is having a 30 percent off sale that ends today. For those of you who aren't familiar ironclad makes the best gloves in the business! (IMO) Also their work apparel is great stuff too I wear the box handelers for climbing and super duty for rope running. I also love their pants and work shirts. I've never seen them have a sale better than 15 percent so this is one to jump on.

I've worn the Box Handler and Gripworx almost exclusively since about '02. Last month my wife managed to pile up a bunch of discounts onto their Holiday special and would have only paid for shipping for 6 pair of otherwise $27. gloves. Thinking there was a mistake, she didn't make the order. <slapping forehead>

yes the picture is the palm of the box handler. I usually get them through amazon unless they're on sale.

Hey Bill I have used those gloves often before and I like the grip but I found they wear really fast ( 2 months 3 to 4 days a week ) and down here they are $45 US a pop. I reverted back to atlas grip palm at $ 7 US and get about a month. The trees here are rather rough and hard on gloves. Still I like the gloves but economically they did not work for me.

a pair of atlas last me about a weekish or less

A month might be a little stretch but if I am just pruning they last longer, two bitching removals they are smoked. I don't climb every day so it's not easy to see how long they last and a lot of jobs are half day climbing so maybe they last longer sometimes. Not a big deal anyhow.

I personally can't stand the sticky gloves I have tried the atlas and a few other brands of the same style. I can't get more than a day or two out of them. I always end up having the sticky material peel off and bunch up in my hitch! The diamond sticky pattern on the ironclads does not peel off in pieces it just wears down. Sure I wish they cost less but after the tackyness wears off they are still good for other stuff. I can usually get them for around $25 a pair. For me it's worth it but that's just me. However if they were $45 I mite reconsider. :)

Bill I hear ya I agree I get sick of he atlas gloves myself. I only started using them when I joined the buzz and saw people using them , I also had the sticky stuff in the hitch but as it wears off near the tips I actually like them better. So when people are throwing them away I am still using mine. Might give the clads a go again. I like switching around stuff to make life a little more interesting I get bored of stuff real fast. Personally I don't need gloves much as I live in the tropics so I don't always wear them either.
