How do you get rid of Root Balls?

We had a bad windstorm last summer, and I have a client that had 8 large (24-32" DBH) oak trees blow over. I took care of the trees for them, and now they are expecting me to come up with a solution to get rid of the root balls. Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

we still stump grind them with our rayco 120 stump grinder, even if root plate is 12 feet high, they collaps and keep crumbling down as you work through them.

or our Fecon on the front of our ASV loader could work down the root plate first, then stump grinder do the thick stump part.

here is some oak root plates we used the rayco 120 on. no problem.

suprisingly, doesn't take long. always amazes me.

so much soil when your done, just use the skid loader to flatten out when finished, leave all the material there. our rubber tracks on ours works like a lawn roller.

0.5 to 1.25 hr. total per big stump like that, to grind and flatten and pack down.

$150 to $300 per stump like that.
