How do you deal with lies?

Lie [lahy] noun; a false statement made with deliberate intent to deceive, deliberately presented as being true, an intentional untruth; a falsehood

It seems that lately, some of our competitors are desperately running short on arguments to defend their compact Crawlers... lifts. We’ve heard potential customers telling us this: “Oh my god, it’s complicated to buy from Canada! You need to pay tax, and more tax and Custom fees...” and so on and so forth. The bottom line is: that is a lie.

As much as we can sustain and handle any comparison with any brand regarding the capabilities, the features, the components and the advantages, how can we possibly fight and compete against lies? To be honest, it’s not about the compact lifts, it is all about the principle...

Since we have learned a lot from TreeBuzzers, we figured that not only us, but everyone here could potentially benefit from the answers.

So the question: How do you deal with lies?

That's a pretty bad business act if they are doing this, kinda ridiculous ! That being said, having bought from the U.S. And importing new and used equipment into Canada is a breeze, and I've heard from U.S. Guys it's the same. It's not as hard to do as some make it out to be that's for sure! Also having dealt with you and Martin, I know you guys go the extra mile to do things the right way!
