SOLD ... SOLD ... SOLD
Second generation Hitch Hiker with a steel ISC carabiner, black plastic tending holster, and cords ... all shown in the attached photo. Got this from another Buzzer via a partial trade for my Rope Runner, and I added a longer piece of 10mm Bee Line cordage. Tried it a few times in my backyard and have come to realize I dislike any device which has to be tended. $140 includes shipping within the 50 United States. I will not ship to an address outside the USA. I accept only USPS money orders or PayPal.

Mostly RADS and occasionally use a Petzl Croll & switch over for descending. Tried the RR, RW & HH ... just not for me. OTOH, I am leaving in the morning to go buy a new Wraptor.

Did you buy that new Wraptor? I was just considering selling mine. Just don't use it as much as I thought I would.

Yes, I did. Haven't had an opportunity to test-fly it yet. Being 58 y.o., I think I'll appreciate the energy I should preserve when using the Wraptor.

You will love it. The one thing I did when I first got it was to use a friction saver up top. It doesn't weigh that much so lowering it down can be slow on a rough barked crotch. Not a big deal in real life but if your like me you will probably spend an hour or two just going up and down to get comfortable with the new process of it. The lowering of the Wraptor 20-30 times in a row with friction gets old quickly.

Thanks for the input. I have already begun planning on how I would lower the Wraptor without running the rope through a crotch. My intention is to reduce/eliminate any damage to the rope ... many options to consider there ... but I admit I was curious about the amount of friction if lowered via the crotch. Thanks again for the heads-up.

I meant what hitch/drt/srt?
With RADS and the Croll (using a hand ascender with a foot loop on the left & a foot ascender on the right), there is no friction hitch, and both are SRT. But if you're asking about which hitch I used with the HH, I tied my friction hitch as per the HH instructions. That may have been a Distel, but I'm not certain ... though it did grab well and consistently. The main aspect I did not like was having to rig a means to tend the device. There is no tending needed with RADS, and both the top and bottom of the Croll attach easily to the Petzl shoulder harness I use on either my Avao and Sequoia saddles. There's just not enough vertical distance between the rings on my shoulder/saddle combo to tend anything other than the Croll.

Gotcha, thanks for that, the id is used with a rads system but is not the one and only, also wasn't listed in ur setup hence my confusion .
