Highly exp. Arborist/climber seeking new opper.

My name is Jeff, I have been a active member of the tree care industry for around 26yrs now, of which the last 15 or so have been climbing, running a crew, or as owner of my own company. I have no interest in running a company for myself, but the experience does make me more valuable to another company. I know the cost of labor, insurance, maintenance, fuel, and every other cost you never dream of until the crew is on site and the job can not be completed until that obscure part is found, and the even more obscure person who knows how to install it is found and paid in advanced. That being said, I prune to ANSI A300 standard. I climb to ANSI Z133.1 standards. If you top trees you need not contact me(Excluding fruit trees or trees around power lines), But if you are looking for someone who is able to remove any tree, And I do mean any tree( As long as we have the right equipment, any job can be done safely, and in a timely manner.) I am the man for you.
I climb with an eye to eye, using a V.T. or disstal, or a shwabish(please forgive spelling) micro pulley with or w/out climbers. I am very knowledgeable about crown reduction, restoration, thinning, cabling, lighting protection, and storm work. I have completed 2 OSHA 10hr safety classes, EHAP training, AICT, aerial rescue, member ISA, 4 years of Iron workers apprenticeship( witch transfer to tree work even more than I could have imagined!) I have had more class room training than I can even list, but by far I have learned much more from the practical part of hands on work. I am, above all arborist, This is not a job it is my career. I always try to do what is wright for the tree while keeping the customer happy. I would like to find a company with the same values, and work ethic. If your company could use a Arborist with long term goals as as his short term priority then we should talk! Please contact me At (270-222-0777) Thank you Jeffrey Culp

You do sound experienced but jeans cut of at the knee, No helmet, and it looks like no shirt. Come on.

Well if this one is all Bull vapors, just how much of, if any is ummm???????

Well I hope everyone feels superior, making comments on a picture when they do not know the context.Just maybe, if a person who made a post, or was just reading out of curiosity, and did not have the luxury of proper training and were to be roasted it may be enough to turn them away. Fortunately, I have been around enough over inflated egos in my career not to take it personally. If any person is new to the tree care industry, do not take these comments as sign of a good ol' boys club that no one can penetrate. Safety is paramount PPEs ARE A MUST! And please forgive me for not putting more thought into any picture I may post. Thank you.

Just a touch huh?? If it where an ego like mine he'd of just said "looking for someone to remove trees, I'm your man"
He words it that he needs special tools to do it.

Thats good, afew more of those double talk and pics, will lead to alot more.

OOO and good luck I'm sure you'll make some employer happy with all that class training.

Wow, I had no intention when I woke this morning to have a online spitting contest. As for over inflated egos, yes as much has been said of me, but I am working on that. Please do not put words in my mouth though "Special Tools" In my experience a crane make some jobs much more efficient, not to mention safer. It seems we have touched on a nerve in the other and this is really a waste. I came to Tree Buzz hoping to meet people who could teach me new and safer ways of working, not to argue. As for the picture that is the second time I have sent it. I have not figured out how to preview it, I do not even know for sure which one it is. It has been a source of great embarrassment for me. But I digress. If anyone feels a need to continue to roast me go ahead, but maybe look in the mirror first.

Classic.

Note to self.

"never bring pictures of myself being a jackass to job interview."

You deserve a little roasting for that one.
Honest mistake, I'm sure. Good luck in your job hunt, and climb safe.

[/ QUOTE ] Just a note, as an employer the way people take criticism is very telling as to how an employee will deal with others. These forums are public and it might be better to just say :oops! bad pic! Sorry guys! I see your point" and not turn it back on everyone else. I am sure you are an accomplished climber but employers are looking for the whole package. And I would hate to admit it but I have some really stupid pics of myself without ppe.

Thank you for your replies, yes I think I have taken this a little to personally. I am currently working but always looking to find a more rewarding opportunity. I guess I should count myself lucky not to have a pic of some poor squirrel with elephantitis of the testicles, but who am I to say what is appropriate. (That is the last verbal spar! Promise!) the lid is on

I'm afraid that's not going to be the last one...
