Hi, i'm interested in the new tribe onyx. I'm 35-36" waist and 6 ft 4. About 190-200 lbs. Are there any onyx users that are of similar size that can help me with sizing. I'm right in the middle of size 1 and 2.

Not sure. To me the fear with a size one at it's limits might cause the side D's to pinch a lot.

Yeah that definitely worries me, I'll prob try size 2. Also, do you do a lot of removals in the onyx?

About 30% of the time. If I was doing spur work all the time I am not sure I would be using the Onyx. I feel there are probably better options for that.

The Onyx is great for removals. It's pretty much all I do when I'm doing tree work and 8 hrs in this saddle is just fine.

I'm definitely leaning towards the onyx. Unfortunately I don't have anywhere to test one. I just want to know that I'll like it for all around work and that it will fit me before I buy it. The more good things I hear, the better I'll feel dropping the $.

I replaced my treemotion with it. I'd give the TM 4 stars and the Onyx 3.5. I'm a 34 waist and have a lot of strap length left with the Size 1.
