Help needed to price lowering device from Australia

I acquired a number of these AS AUTO STOP LOWERING DEVICES, they were originally from Australia.

They were made 2006/08 by a company called 'Fallright', and were part of a rescue kit.

30kn swl and capable of lowering 400kgs.

Hope someone can help with a price guide that these sold for?

So tom you think they have no value? as a descent device, lowering yourself 100ft into a potholing pit it would be an easy and very safe thing to do.
I believe its got rescue applications for tree surgery.
Its a very solid, bomb proof piece of kit, unlike petzl stuff....

-What's then bend radius
-Do you biner into the small hole on the bottom I assume
-Do you push or pull the handle
-Is it hard to release after a slip or you bounce into it
-Srt, ddrt, ...
-Do you have any you tube video?
-Is it just for decent, like a figure 8, so you need more hardware to ascend
-What do they retail for down under

Just a few questions that came to mind.

It's hard to pull a price out of a hat without knowing construction materials, weight, flaws or recalls.
Not trying to knit pick nut that might help us help you a bit more.

As well I didn't see Tom say anywhere that it was worthless, he just seems like a bargain shopper. He said he'd take one for that price, not for you to sell them at that price, why would he want useless junk?
Always take the high road and assume the best until you find out differently for a fact.

What's then bend radius - it traps the rope in places, dr.storrick has a good explanation.
yes -Do you biner into the small hole on the bottom I assume
pull it down, its in the locked position in photo below -Do you push or pull the handle
its very easy, based on the handle length and fulcrum -Is it hard to release after a slip or you bounce into it
anyones poison -Srt, ddrt, ...
not yet -Do you have any you tube video?
yes, but with great control, could be used for lowering timber in controlled setup -Is it just for decent, like a figure 8, so you need more hardware to ascend
no idea, cannot find any links -What do they retail for down under

in this pic does the rope get bent and squeezed or are there teeth or what is the actual rope holding mechanism? an demo vid would help

I've got several other bollard type descenders already. The only time that I've ever used them was when I was in tall West Coast trees. They dissipate heat really well. A couple of them have 'panic' stops that will lock if the handle is either let go or grabbed tight. Kind of like the action on a Petzl I'd.

They have value...but not much to me. $15 w/shipping :)

There are no teeth, just bent and squeezed..will do a video shortly.

Yes Tom, the panic thing is the same on this one, whats the prices on the other bollard types? as a guide idea.

I am trying for around $75 at the moment, as my guess is they were $200+
