Fancy whipstitching

Alright, whipstitching is my least favorite part of splicing rope. Maybe if I had the challenge of learning some new patterns it wouldn't feel so tedious. Show me something nifty?
 
Wow......yeah, I'm not going *that* fancy LOL. IDK....maybe I'll start doing hidden lockstitch and a standard whip. Might be faster and less tedious than the wrap and stitch around I'm currently doing.
 
The Brion toss hidden lock stitch is cool, pull one cover strand at burry point. I've done initials before too, kinda fun
 
Update on invisible stitch using samson terms.

Pull one strand at mark r, leave hanging until splice is finished.

Use strand to lock stitch, aming to have needle exit btw strands like so.20191218_211111.jpg

Insert needle back btw same strands

Repeat following lockstitch instructions.

Trim and burn end, pretty much invisible
