Very cool JohnnyPro! I love looking at new ways of doing things and I have never seen this before!
Almost looks like running a Petzle Shunt with a couple of munters but of course MUCH better.

You should start a separate thread on this technique but I think we are pushing the acronyms of DRT to the max now.

interesting! What size are those lines?

Now that's where I want to be 2 foot acsenders, double line , but through one device . I had been thinking a second BDB , but this is much better. If my memory serves me correctly Surveyor may have said he had or was working on another BDB for 2 lines ?

Post #420 - Page 21 - Bulldog Bone - 11/18/2014
Cheers! smiling here. Mac said the Bone was Boss as I was making an oversize Bone and the name seemed to fit. Now Aaron you have mentioned an Eagle Bone and I have made a double sided Bone that may be useful DRT, and it looks like well.......an Eagle with two "wings" and a tail.

Really innovative new technique! Thanks for sharing JohnnyPro! Where'd the pizza and beer video go? Only got to watch it on my phone then came home to check it out on my iPad so I could see what was going on and it was gone :(
And how did this thread not take off? Did you have to mod you runner in anyway? Now I need a rope runner and some pricey new lines to give this a go!

@Jonny; Just bumping this thread because I’d thought that JohnnyPro had removed all of his videos from the internet that related to his twin rope technique. I was shocked to see the video in post number 1 of this thread still up and available. I thought you may have mentioned a long, long time ago wanting to see his videos of the technique, but that you were too late. His video about Pizza and Beer may have shown it better, but it appears to be gone for good. Johnny may have forgotten about this one. Thanks. Tim.

P.S. It is thanks to @snunyabizness that I got pulled back to this thread. Which he did by liking a post of mine in a related thread.

If you want to dig into TRT, ask @oceans and @SoftBankHawks they will be pleased to enlighten you on it.

Hope he is doing okay. Heard he had quite the fall.
I had not heard that. If the details are not too personal, I’d appreciate being able to read any info on how it happened, and how long ago. He looks like a daredevil, but he’s also an amazingly talented climber. So a debrief of how the incident happened might be of use to the community, with regard to future accident prevention. Thanks. Tim.

I can't remember how long ago this happened - at least two years ago. And it's hearsay, but I heard one day he thought he could fly, so he unclipped from his system and walked off the end of a limb.
