Dead oak uprooted, hung up over house

this is a yard on a steep angle where an oak uprooted and lodged in another a red oak above a house. Kind of a wooded back yard, so it's hard to tell distance to house but it's within range.

now we pulled it upright and then over, besides the line for the good, we had a line on each side to stabalize, one in a porty and one to a 4-1. no notch, root ball and all, totally uprooted

Seamus, did you have a block set high in the tree for a fairlead down to the other block that leads to the GRCS?

Did you use a DWT to add MA for lifting the oak with the GRCS, and as you were lifting were you taking up slack on the Porty and letting out on the other stabilizer line to get the tree to swing in the direction that you wanted?

Awesome job. These are the kind of jobs that I love to work on. Did you do a load calculation to make sure the GRCS could lift the tree before you started?

Hey thanks guys!
Chris, the rope went up to another block maybe twenty five feet higher in the tree, with that, plus the grade change, we ended up with a great angle to pull the spar back. We didn't think an MA was needed, but at the last moment we decided to add a second pull line with an MA just for the extra pull, this is would be the fifth rope. not sure if i have any pics of that one( started to run out of crew at this point).
