Clips from a crane removal

The good thing is no-one I work with has any idea how to set dead eye crane slings(formerly known as balancers). They are stuck on straps with big knuckle crushing shackles

Yup that is how the boss likes to do it, but I'd rather spend time with slings and take bigger pics assuming we have the room for it. And a few of the pics were pretty close to the roof so there wasn't much room for error.
I had to walk that guy through each piece which wasn't bad but there was a lot of video of me pointing and saying "no, not there, over there. no the other there!"

Look clean, no bad limb swings at all. Since you asked......the only thing I personallydid not like was the crane tie in point. I prefer something with a better bend radius, I would also prefer more meat around that hook maybe something like that Tree Stuff crane tie in sling or other beefy friction saver. Just my 2 cents since you asked.

Looked clean, nice work. Only thing that stuck out to me was the bend radius of his rope through the TIP on the crane. A bit too Sharp for my liking, but to each his own.

Agreed the crane I normally climb with has a much better tie in situation. I've thought about buying the treestuff crane thing but there are a lot of shiny things to buy.

I get it man. That place is a candy store. That's the only upside to them being out of stock of a lot of goodies is you're a little more limited to how much you spend. Can't buy it if they don't have it! Don't skimp on safety though so buy the "treestuff crane thing" or make something on your own. Cheers!

Havent met Grant...only heard he's working out...i'm sure he liked the balancers on that one...your gonna spoil him!

Yah he said he hadn't really worked with anybody who wanted to do rigging like that.
I like Jeff though hes a good dude, well they all are. I like the Leimeister crane crew.
