Climber needed Dallas/ Plano Texas

HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAAHAHA!!!!!!!

Why is it that alot of tree guys REFUSE to wear a hardhat, but in other industries where it is also required it seems like no big deal. It's just part of the job if you're on a construction crew, factory, warehouse, heavy equipment operator, even surveyors and white hatted foremen - all wear their hardhats with pride, just part of the uniform like a doctor wears blue scrubs. It shows the world that "I'm a professional worker on the job working."

But alot of tree guys seem to think they're immune to gravity and won't wear one - even municipal crews - I don't get it. Being seen working without a hard hat says:"I'm underskilled part time labor who doesn't REALLY do this job and my employer won't enforce basic OSHA regs"

Sorry to derail. Hope you find somebody good. Maybe one of the guys looking for work in this forum will jump at the chance to climb some really cool trees in very nice weather.

My name is Xian Hunter and i'm curious to know what caliber of tree climber/ arborist you are looking for, and how serious your company is/ what kind of operation you have, i.e. contracts, equipment, qualified personel, pay rate, etc... I look forward to speaking with you more in dept, via e-mail @ hunterxian@yahoo.com or on the phone at 805-259-8879.

The economy set us back quite a bit. Texas was hit hard in the real estate area. That effected us all. Texas did good in the past recessions. We are close to starting over. I'm looking for a rope and saddle hard hat safety glasses wearing climber that only uses spikes during removals. All cuts/work has to abide by ANSI standards. I only use Sthyl, Petzel (sp), Bandit, and 13 braid rope as to not hurt tree crotches. We also have one cambium saver. If you've ever been to a competition then you are familiar with how our goals are to run a worksite. The goal for a climber is to run one 3 man crew and earn a high percentage paying the costs of that crew outside of purchasing WORN OUT equipment. Lost or broken equipment ... well you break it you bought it including damaged property. We take extra steps NOT to damage property. NO CLOVE HITCHES roping down logs! ONLY running bowlines. We have to work up to this goal of crew chief / climber. There is no need to inter act with the customers. NO SPAEKEE ENGLISHA with a smile is preferable. Conversation with customers opens doors are better left closed and they try adding on extra work not approved. Insurance??? We'll see how Obama's crew does with that. Before Obama we offered Afflac.I've made myself late getting out this morning. This has probably been too much info or TMI.
