I recently took a break from climbing and it has opened my eyes. I need to get back to my roots and back out doors again. I am looking for a job in the green industry. I've worked outdoors with landscapes in some fashion for over 6 years. I've been climbing full time for 4 years with a background in IPM. I am capable of running a 3 man crew climbing trees or running a landscape crew if needed.
I am up to date on the current A300 standards and am proficient in spike-less climbing. In fact, that is my specialty. I am by no means a removal expert but I am capable of medium sized removals.
I graduated Penn State with a B.S. in Landscape Contracting with the option of design/build. I am very familiar with the design process and also the construction process. I've been a certified arborist for over 3 years and have my PA spray license. I have also have had my spray license for over 2 years.
I have my CDL class B with air brakes and a clean driving record and an up to date medical card till July. I have been first aid and CPR trained for the last 4 year but have let my certification lapse in the last year or so.
I am active in my community volunteering on work days and helping out at the Penn-Del tree climbing competition. I've been a safety tech at the Penn-Del aerial rescue event for the last two years and have also helped the mac-isa with their a few years back. Also I am a test proctor for the ISA.
If you ask anyone I've worked with they will tell you I am very safety minded and look out for my brothers on the ground and in the air with me. I do know a few people personally here, on this site, to vouch for my work ethic and quality of work.
If you would like to see my resume I can provided it for you. Also if you would like to get in touch please PM here for my e-mail address so I can avoid spam mail.
Thank you very much. If anyone has leads in the southeastern part of PA please let me know. I would very much appreciate it.
