Chain occasionally doesn’t move

From time to time chain on my 2-year old Husqvarna 550 xp doesn’t move. Once I push it by pressing toward wood it will go and then it works ok. I have seen this happening to other people as well.
Why is this happening?
I keep my chainsaw clean and the bar/chain get enough oil.

my only guess is the bar nose sprocket needs cleaned and oiled, take the chain off and try to spin the sprocket, is it easy to spin?

Also the bearing of the sprocket could be worn so the chain is actually gripping the bar stock and not riding the sprocket.

I don't know Huskies very well, but I've run a 550 a few times. The one that I've run is very susceptible to sawdust getting jammed under the chain in the groove. It will stop the chain from spinning and it's cleared by pushing the chain against wood until it comes out. Might be the same issue your having?

A good way at avoiding this, most of the time, is to rev the saw once or twice with the chain brake off after cutting. This let's it clear the chips out of the chain's drive links.
