Hey guys Im new to TB but have been reading/ creeping around the buzz board for a week or so. (It was very hard for me to get registered, took about a week, I guess there were some "inter-dimensional creatures" screwing it up.)
Back to the thread topic, good ol' Saint Nick brought me the CELanyard for christmas and I love it! Like all DMM/Treemagineers products I have had the pleasure of trying out, the design is superb. It is very versatile and aids greatly in positioning about the canopy. I use my CELanyard as a secondary lanyard, storing it in a ditty bag on back of my saddle when not in use. (My primary lanyard is a wire core with petzl micro grab.) The only gripe I have, which really is very minor, is that you have to pay attention to the prusik knot and make sure it grabs when advancing on the system. Its not quite as consistent as the V.t. I use in conjunction with the HC Rapide on my climbing line. I may try a different hitch, but like I said its a minor concern.
I would recommend this product to anyone.
