Canopy anchor curiosity

Yea, i use the bowline on a bite (double bowline?) sometimes, very secure, any hardware can include the end of the bite as a safety instead of a yosemite, but the knot is bulkier.

Yeah, it's also nice because if you get up to your anchor and need to go higher or elsewhere you can untie it aloft and set it again rather than dealing with the hassle of untying an alpine up there.

In standard arbo climbing lines a DBY should be adequate.
In some very stiff lines Bowline doesn't seat properly
>>enough to be trusted in a key (lifeline) remote (un-inspectable) position.
.
Sometimes i'd either leave a throwline in the Bowline eye or attach rigging line to the eye w/krab.
Wouldn't have to climb to TIP to reset or reroute, just pull Bowline down to me.
Also good for SRT in/up, then pull down Bowline w/rigging line, switch gears to DdRT and have rigging line ready.
