I got a couple of bags'o'rope from treestuff. In my second bag I got a 100 foot hank of db rigging rope and a little over 100' hank of this 16 strand. I can't seem to find out the manufacturer of this. I looked on treestuff.com to see if I could find it on there but no luck. Any help or info would be appreciated.

You guys are all awesome! Treelogic I think you may have figured it out. Raj I'll do a little testing on it when I get home. Jeffgu I may just have to send them a picture if nothing else. I appreciate all of the interest and info.

What's the material? Does it melt and turn brown or sorta keeps burning and melts, or just chars no melting or burns and makes ashes?

The cover melts and goes out when I take the flame away and doesn't char. The core melts and continues to burn when i take the flame away.
edit- I didn't notice any ashes at all

The cover melts and goes out... The core melts and continues to burn...

Sounds like polyester cover and nylon core, to me... :sisi:

Or maybe not... hmm... the core melts, but does it burn a little and char (turn black) under the flame? Nylon usually does that.
