Any one else have this problem ever. Very frustrating sitting on the job with a heat gun to get my pistol grip moving! Please help

Mine used to do that. Once it freezes up you just have to thaw it out. Prevention. Mine was caused from the truck sitting out in the elements. On my one man bucket the cover is big enough to cover the pistol grip so I keep it covered. On my two man bucket I have to keep it covered. The bottom half of a milk jug works good. Has to be removed every morning or it will blow off when you hit the road. A bungee will keep it on. Take the control apart and spray it down with WD 40. It helps the control plus I've not had it freeze up since. But I'm in Arkansas and it rarely gets to the single digits here.

Find the ice first.

You might have holes or tears in the pleated rubber boot. There might be o-rings that seal the valve mechanisms.

I had a throttle cable on a front end loader that would freeze up. even after cleaning and dosing with several sprays the throttle would still freeze.. The solution was to wait until a cold day and frozen throttle. Careful disassembly showed a bit of ice that lead to a leaking seal. Until I did the work in the cold I never found the culprit

ACF50 is a great product. developed for aircraft on flight decks at sea. I use it on my motorcycle for winter storage. I spray it on everything exept brakes and tires. It goes on horribly, all bloby and thick like its a mistake. then after a few hours it flows out and provides good cover. Ive also used it on the valve chest for fawarding craines including the rubber boots.

Hi Tom, sorry for the slow responce, been a while since I loged in. I use the pressurized can. One can will completly cover my motorcycle three times, I do it once a year. It also helps if you stand it in a bucket of hot water for a while first.
