Birchwood Tree Service, located in Arlington Heights, Illinois, is seeking an immediate Arborist Sales position.
Responsibilities:
* estimate job costs and provide quotes
* set up crews, supervise work being performed to meet daily quota, and complete jobs to clients’ satisfaction
* assist in developing new business
* enforce company safety and maintain safe and controlled work place and environment.
*able to perform tree care spraying for treatment of apple scab, EAB treatments, etc.
The ideal candidate will have:
A degree in Arboriculture, Forestry, Horticulture or equivalent experience
* hands-on experience and knowledge of trees and healthcare
* a proven sales record
* an energetic & charismatic personality
* great listening skills and excellent verbal and written communication skills
* Arborist Certification from IAA.
* A valid driver’s license
* MUST HAVE EXPERIENCE IN DOING ESTIMATIONS IN THE TREE CARE INDUSTRY and have at least a minimum of 1-2 years experience in the tree care industry
