Stable Braid is literally a piece of cake to splice. I'm only 30 minutes from you if you need any advice or help! Seriously, I'd love to give you some assistance. I just finished several 9/16" X Ring slings. If you want some pics, let me know, Brother!Rajan Chadha I have a 3/4" stable braid that I need an eye in.
Why yes...... yes I do......... #Beastmode5 days?! Do u know how much of your food I can eat in 5 days!!??!
Fids & Fibers Qualified Splicer Program (QSP) is in the works.... Working with rope manufacturers now to create consensus on what it should contain... and tailoring the coursework to each mfgr specs. Also reaching out to the ANSI Z133.1 committee and Cordage institute for feedback, suggestions and linkages.... Will be contacting TCIA next week to talk about it as well... Also will be reaching out to splicing experts looking for feedback. I expect to have the framework together after the 8th Annual Fids&Fibers workshop. (Feb 1-5th 2017) This year we are expanding the workshop to include FIVE days of training. Please visit the Fids & Fibers Facebook page for more details, and keep an eye on www.newenglandisa.org for registration. You can find me at EXPO... I'll be wearing a Fids&Fibers Teeshirt and hanging out at the ShelterTree Booth. You can always reach me at: 1.603.529.0874 or markprz@gsinet.net
We're working to make this a robust qualification.. and attempting to think through the process completely.... Feel free to share your feedback, ideas or requirements with me personally... Thanks for your patience.
Yours in Trees,
Mark
