Bandit Chippers

My first one was bought three years ago. Sheared a key lock right away in the feeders. Hasn’t been back to the shop since. EVER! It has NEVER broken. We paid it off without a second trip to the shop. It has been the most reliable piece of equipment yet. I just bought two more of them a couple months ago because of all the success we had.

Looks like you are north of Toronto? Gas is much less of a drag in the winter, I'd still vote for diesel due to fuel consumption torque and value holding. Tough choice but you can't go wrong either way, what's the price difference?

Demo the XPC with large diameter wood.

I did (15XPC Gas) and found an unusually large "spit" back of chips. Way too many.
Demo for 10 min max, all I needed to see.

I would have to believe a bandit rep would think this is unsafe. Tell me otherwise.

Anyway, my sales guy said this was because of the drum diameter and housing design, bla, bla.

I passed in an instant, no decision at all. Completely unsafe...chips flying back out onto the street like stump grinding.

Anyone else with an XPC see this?

I'll most likely go regular 15XP, just want to be sure my F550 Gassers are enough pull.

My 250 XP also running fine at 1500 hours, new isn't always better following some of the new bandit chipper posts. Distributor caps and such.

I am leaning towards the the 150 XP with the T3 Diesel on it. I did a Demo with the 12 XPC. It chipped Well. A little lighter as well. Also in the Winter I could Park it in my 8 foot door.
The 150XP is much Taller and Heavier built ?
