Bad Experience Eagan Performance Parts

I don’t normally do this, but wanted to share my experience: I ordered a muffler cover from Eagan performance for a 461. The website states minor bending or cutting to the factory spark arrestor screen for fitment. In my book it took excessive cutting and grinding not only to the saws muffler, but also the product he’s selling! I emailed them regarding the issue, and instead of pointing out what could be the issue, he says that a bolt I have holding on the exhaust “deflector” (which he sold me) was wrong. He doesn’t supply the bolt for the extra deflector, or provide specs for what should be used. So after grinding my muffler like crazy, and grinding the tab (nearly off) that holds his spark arrestor screens (yes screens, there’s 2 stacked on top of eachother) I get the cover to sit flat, then the motherfucking bolt holes that attach your muffler and cover to the saw don’t line up! Follow up emails just got more badittude from the guy…. So much so, I don’t give a shit about a refund, or the hassle of sending his paper weight back. Disappointed. Gordy from WCS is a legit good dude, and that’s what I get for straying away from giving him my continued business.

Bummer but thx for the heads up. I had the opposite experience with Modern Equipment last week when chipper knives started to get loose of packaging in transit and one got minor damage. Called, spoke to whomever answers just asking them to pass it on to shipping dept (thinking of mail carriers, yikes!), not asking for a refund as it was minor. Got a call back from higher up checking in and given a discount on next purchase. WCS and Modern good, Eagan bad.
