awesome redirect for rigging

Has anyone else tried the swivel pulley for rigging from Rock Exotica? I have one spliced into an amsteele adjustable loop and I love it. Well worth the $70. It's almost as beefy as a regular size block and it's really convenient in the tree. I like to use it as a redirect for a rigging line, but I imagine it has other uses as well.

We use ours all the time. A million and one uses, I'm sure.

Looks like a good piece of gear to have. Its so much lighter than a block with a good SWL. There are lots of times that I don't want to pull up a full size 2T block, but know I shouldn't use a pulley. The quick attach seems like a sweet idea. And with the light weight of Amsteel, a great light rigging package.


How is the spliced Amsteel attached. Thimble?

Sounds like it's 'free running' on a loopie??
If it is, be mindful of the tight bend radius.

I love the thing. It stays in the pouch on my saddle almost all the time. I use it for smaller stuff just girth hitched on a web sling.
