augsburger-baumpflegetage

Anyone going to this or have any input from past experience with it or current involvement?

I will be attending but mainly because I will be in Munich during this time frame for business reasons.

Here is a link that has been run through babblefish http://fets3.freetranslation.com:5081/?sequence=core&language=german/english&url=http%3A%2F%2Fwww.baumpflege.org%2Faugsburger-baumpflegetage%2Fhtml%2Fprogrammkletterforum.html

Here is the site again. Warning, it is in German. http://www.baumpflege.org/augsburger-baumpflegetage/index.html

Any input would be appreciated. (Mark Bridge, Ronny, etc)

Thanks - Nathan

...sorry, Nathan, don't check in here very often, tends to be more US- specific, so this answer took a while, still here we are!

Augsburg is the first big trade-show of the year & as such has gained more & more importance over the years as a date for climbers to meet, hang out & oogle at all the goodies. All the major dealers are there, manufacturers , there's demos, comps- you name it! This year is a first, in that for the first time there'll be a whole day clmber's forum, which used to be just an hour or two over lunch- time during the break of the seminars.

Hopefully- in fact I'm sure it will- it'll prove to be a success & so provide us with a further platform to air our views & opinions in & on the industry.

Augsburg is a blast- if you're in Europe in March, make sure to stop over, it's also a great place to make & refresh aqquaintances (i.e. hang out the bar after the show).

See you there, Mark.

Well, Sergio, I hesitate to get you all fired up, coming all the way up here, just to be pissed off with me, because you can't figure out what everyone is on about... but yes, I do feel it's worth it in terms of networking possibilities- there's always a mixed crowd there, you'll know plenty of people there.
