Anybody have any experience with these? Sizing etc….. I’m not really looking to them as a climbing boot, more just general day to day work/day to day kicking around boots. Thanks

I have been climbing with a pair of these boots for several years, and I like them enough that I bought another pair for when the first pair wears out. But don't put much weight on my opinion. I have problem feet, and I always have difficulty finding any kind of shoe that works well for me. I need something with a stiff sole with width and vertical space not only for my feet but for my two custom inserts as well. I normally wear an 8 -1/2 wide and the size Euro 41 fits me perfectly. It's wider than most and there is enough space inside to fit my inserts and feet without being too tight. The sole is very stiff, and I need that to keep my arthritic toes from flexing too much. They are generally well made and are lasting a long time for me. While they work very well for me when climbing, they get uncomfortable for me on the ground after a while. Boots are such a personal matter, and the only way you will know if they will work for you is to try them.

Appreciate the feedback. Gonna give them a go. Ever need any help in the wintertime? I’m getting sick of Colorado winters and would love to snowbird to Louisiana for a few months to do tree work.

I am not the guy to help you with tree work, but I like your two-timing idea of avoiding both the Colorado winters and the Louisiana summers. I would love to get away from this heat, humidity, stupidity and hurricane season right now.

arthritic toes
A little helpful tip. I should be LOADED with arthritis from all the injuries I have sustained throughout the years, but I am not. Shots off apple cider vinegar, one before bed, if you can stomach it. I don't do them as often as I should, but it's done me justice. My wrist is the worst. Once in a blue moon it flares up. I take a teaspoon of olive oil, heat it up a bit so it's warm, and rub it in. 20-30 mins later, pain and discomfort subsides.

I hope this is of some comfort.
